Food and drink for all

Members have a wonderful choice of places to eat and menus to suit everyone – all with emphasis on quality local produce.

This will be an exciting year with a new food stall and various new foods creating great dining experiences.

Whether you come to eat just once, or for all three days, you will find fantastic choice.

Local Cornish produce, with a unique twist, is at the heart of all menus.

Cornish Carvery

All meats are supplied by local farmers; beef is aged for 28 days and lamb and pork selected for flavour and tenderness, something Cornish farmers excel in producing.

  • Roasted Cornish topside with a mustard and rosemary crust.
  • Slow-roasted pork shoulder with sausage meat, apple and sage stuffing.
  • Selection of gourmet sausages with carmelized onions.
  • Cornish roasted herb chicken with sausage and thyme stuffing.

Cornish seafood bar

Old favourites and new ideas.

The seafood is sourced from all around the British coast and all fish is market fresh. All tastes and budgets catered for.

  • Cornish seafood chowder with crusty baked bread and Rhoddas butter.
  • Cornish smoked salmon platter with a choice of baked breads and butter.
  • Fresh crumbed fish and chips with mushy minted peas.
  • Panko crumbed king prawns with sweet chilli sauce and prawn cocktail served with Marie rose sauce and crusty bread.
  • Sharing seafood platter for two. A selection of the above served with a tossed green salad and freshly baked bread.
  • Ultimate seafood platter for four; shrimps, crevettes, king prawns, dressed Newlyn crab, lobster, mussels, seafood salad, smoked salmon and freshly fried fish, all accompanied by various dipping sauces, salad and a whole french stick. Pre-order only.

World curry bar

Indian and Asian spices used with traditional methods to create mouth-watering curries. This year's selection will combine three different countries' cuisines, and accompanied with authentic rice and sambals.

  • Lamb passandra (similar to a korma but a much richer flavour and not so sweet)
  • Tandoori Chicken tikka massala (traditional chicken curry made with Cornish chicken thigh and ground spices)
  • Thai beef massaman curry (diced Cornish chuck steak marinated and slowly cooked with potatoes and peanuts)
  • Thai green curry scented with kaffir lime leafs, sweet basil and galangal.

All the curries are served with various sambals and puppadoms.

Gourmet burger bar.

Various flavours of gourmet burgers all handmade and char-grilled, and presented in giant soft, floured baps with salad and condiments.

Here are some of the flavours. We are also offering shoe-string fries and mayonnaise for a simple snack.

  • Cornish steak burger.
  • Cornish steak burger scented with fresh horseradish.
  • Cornish steak burger topped with bacon and cheese burger.
  • Piri piri chicken burger.
  • Moroccan scented chick pea and aubergine burger topped with char grilled halloumi.

All with 100% Cornish meat.

Pavilion refreshments and panini grill bar

Dry and wet refreshments to relax with. New this year a selection of panini's cooked in 30 seconds right in front of your eyes.

  • Cornish ham and mature cheddar.
  • Indian chicken and caramelized onion.
  • Char grilled Italian vegetable vegetable, pesto and Lands End brie.
  • The Royal Cornwall Panini of the day.
